Before the Keelung River empties into the Tamsui River, it weaves a graceful arc around Shezidao. The section along the river's north bank and west of the Huanggang River is one of the few rice-growing areas in Taipei. This area links with a mangrove nature refuge, provides an in-city escape into a rustic world off the fast-track of life.
